How politics affect media

Media help people to get involved in politics. Media can be divided into different types, like print media(newspaper and magazine), Broadcast media, Internet. How politics influence the media? There are three aspects, journalism, politician itself, and consumer.

LGBT culture

Nowadays, many games will have one or two LGBT characters in their game, in order to show the support attitude or the diversity of their characters.

Women’s right

some of the games design their female character as smart and strong. unlike the traditional female character, their appearance or characteristic is not feminism. the character designer want their character is special and unnormal.

I think some of these law is good for the development of the game, for example, in the video game content rating system, according to the requirement of their background story and game style, the game creator can design mature or violent content for their game. They don’t need to worry about this content is not suited for children. The attention on LGBT culture and women’s right, do give more diversity to the game design, it helps people to know their culture and raise their acceptance. But the negative side of this law is that some of the law damages the creativity of art, they too emphasize the importance of the law, ignore the game’s development.
