Collaborate project week1

week 1

28th January is the first day I join Abbie’s team, I really want to do a music video, so I found Abbie to ask can I join her team as an animator, she invited me into their group, so glad I could be one of them.

after that, I start to do the research for our project.

I shared these two music videos with Abbie and Mariana because I think these two videos could give us some inspiration. They animate really well, the camera transition and lighting, color is really nice too. Abbie and Mariana also share a bunch of things as reference and research.

we didn’t make the decision on what kind of music video we gonna do, and we decided to make a video call tomorrow morning, and push forward our work process.

Mariana, Abbie and I schedule a meeting at 2nd February 2 pm, we decided to push our work to get further.

after the meeting, our mission this week :

1.find models that we think can be used

2. keep finding reference( for stage, for video, for camera, for lighting)

On 4th February, Kenneth is invited to our group as our sound artist, he is a BA sound student. we have a meeting again to figure out what kind of stage we willing to do.

and we decided to come up with the idea and storyline next week and make some simple storyboard. Kenneth share his music demo with us.
